First Time EV Owner? Read This Before You Install
LTA registration is mandatory.
Every EV charger installed in Singapore must be registered with the Land Transport Authority (LTA), and comply with Singapore Standard 722 (SS722). Should you fail to do so, you will have to incur a penalty cost.
Maintenance is a requirement.
Under Singapore's Electric Vehicle Charging Act (EVCA), residential EV chargers require a safety inspection periodically. We track your schedule, and will reach out to you when your next service is due.
Not all chargers are the same.
AC chargers are usually the standard choice for home use. They charge your car overnight at a steady, safe rate. For most landed homeowners, an AC charger between 7.4kW and 22kW is the right fit.

Before any charger is installed, your landed property's electrical capacity needs to be assessed. Most landed homes in Singapore can support a standard home charger, but an upgrade may occasionally be needed.
