LTA Electric Heavy Vehicle Charger Grant (EHVCG) Process

The EHVCG is a grant by the Land Transport Authority (LTA) to support companies installing chargers for electric heavy vehicles (eHVs). It co-funds up to 50% of installation costs, capped at $30,000 per charger.

1. Preparation & Eligibility Check

Must plan to purchase/register an electric heavy vehicle (eHV)
Obtain quotation for charger installationSecure site approval (if not owned by you)

2. Grant Application Phase

Apply via the Government Business Grants Portal (BGP)
Submit required documents (eHV purchase proof, quotation, site details, etc.)
If eligible, LTA issues a Letter of Offer (LOF)
Applicant accepts the grant and proceeds with installation

3. Installation & Claim Phase

Install charger at your business premises (within the allowed timeframe)
Pay upfront for installation
Submit receipts, invoices, and photos
LTA reimburses approved amount after verification
