Our Background

At Hai Khim Engineering Pte Ltd, our experience in fleet charging infrastructure spans bus depots, logistics operators, and large-scale commercial vehicle operations across Singapore. This project with Volt Singapore is one of our largest projects yet, and is a clear demonstration of what our end-to-end EV charging infrastructure looks like at industrial scale.

The Challenge

ComfortDelgro, one of Singapore's largest public transport operators, required a high capacity EV charging infrastructure solution. 
Project demanded a charging hub capable of simultaneously servicing a large number of vehicles within tight overnight operational timeframes.
Designing a charging layout capable of accommodating 40 charging points within the limitations of the depot site
Delivering sufficient combined power output of 360kW to support rapid fleet turnaround within operational shifts
Ensuring full SS722 compliance and LTA registration across all 40 units
Completing installation with minimal disruption to everyday operations
Future proofinig infrastructure to accomodate future demands

The Solution

We delivered a complete DC fast charging hub at Jalan Papan — Singapore's largest DC charging hub at the time of installation 
Full site assessment and electrical load planning to support 40 charging points at 460kW combined output simultaenously.
Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of all 40 DC fast charger units
Electrical infrastructure works including cabling, mounting, distribution board upgrads, and load management integration
Dynamic load management system implementation to distribute available electrical capacity efficiently across all 40 points
Full SS722 compliance verification and LTA registration across every unit
Documentation and commissioning records for all 40 chargers

The Outcome
