EHVCG

The Electric Heavy Vehicle Charger Grant (EHVCG) is a grant mandated by the Land Transport Authority (LTA) to support companies installing chargers for electric heavy vhicles (EHVs). It co-funds up to 50% of installation costs, capped at $30,000 per charger. 

1. Preparation & Eligibility Check:

• Must plan to purchase or register an EHV. 
• Obtain quotation for charger installation 
• Secure site approval if not owned by you 

2. Grant Application Phase:

• Apply via the Government Business Grants Portal (BGP)
• Submit required documents such as EHV purchase proof, quotation, site details etc.
• If eligble, LTA will issue you a Letter of Offer
• Once issued, applicants can then accept the grant and proceed with installation. 

3. Installation & Claim Phase:

• Install the EV charger at your business premises within the allocated timeframe mentioned
• Pay upfront for the installation process
• Submit proof of receipts, invoices, and photos for you to make a claim
• Once verified and approved, LTA will then reimburse you the final amount.
